This document is intended to answer the most commonly asked questions about Aquator‚ and the Vacuum Field Technology on which it is based. This document is intended for use as an information aid to be made available to Basabe & Partner’s importers and/or distributors, so that they can be in a position to respond to questions encountered by them accurately and knowingly.

Basabe & Partner is anxious that no misinformation of any kind be given to the general public regarding any of its products, and as such has established a policy of technical information support to its network of importers and distributors.

Q. What material is Aquator® made of?

A. Aquator® is made of two separate types of materials.

The first material is used to manufacture the Aquator® housing, i.e. the frame of the instrument. This material is a Dupont material, known as Pom Delerin P-100. Using high precision tools, the material is injection moulded into the various parts that constitute the inner and outer housings of Aquator®. Precision is of the order of 1/1000th of a millimetre.

The second material is the “heart” of Aquator®. It is a special magnetic foil, processed in a way as to allow it to “generate” the vacuum field inside Aquator®. The technology associated with the transmutation process is classified.

Q. Is the choice of material relevant to the functionality of Aquator®?

A. Yes. While the Aquator‚ housing can, in theory, use many different materials, the material chosen for Aquator® has demonstrated maximum aptitude for use in such an instrument. To-date, no better material has been found to do a better job than that chosen. As for the inner material, the choice is even more critical. The combination of both materials has proved to be most effective for the transmutation process to take place.

Q. What is the maximum temperature at which Aquator® can operate?

A. It is safe to say that Aquator® will work perfectly effective up to temperatures of around 80°C. Its effect will weaken gradually at temperatures above that, an will be lost completely at 100°C. This poses no problems at a practical level, since coffee and tea, and other similar hot drinks, are typically served at temperatures not exceeding 60°C.

Q. What about pressure? Can water be forced through Aquator® at high pressures?

A. Aquator‚, in its present form, is designed as a household instrument, and can therefore, physically withstand pressures expected to be found in a household environment. Pressures of taps, showers, garden hoses, and other sources of water found in a typical household can easily be handled by Aquator®. Industrial pressures are beyond the capabilities of Aquator®. For industrial applications, Aquator® is offered in different configurations.

Q. Does the effect of the vacuum field vary depending on the flow rate of the liquid through Aquator®?

A. No. Aquator‚ will influence liquids passed through it regardless of how slow or how fast the rate of flow might be.
